Teenage striker Euan Pollock has joined Southern League Premier South outfit Truro City on a work experience basis.

Pollock could be in contention to make his debut when the White Tigers host Beaconsfield Town at Bolitho Park on Saturday.

Truro, who are managed by Plymouth Argyle legend Paul Wotton, are currently 18th in Southern League Premier South, a division which also includes Dorset teams Wimborne, Poole and Dorchester.

Pollock was a prolific goalscorer during his two-year scholarship with the Cherries and is now a member of Shaun Cooper’s development squad.

The Dorchester-born 18-year-old started out in the under-nines after being spotted by club scouts playing for Bridport Youth.

Under the terms of his work experience, Pollock will be eligible to feature in the FA Cup with Truro visiting Hungerford in the second qualifying round on 18th September.
