AFC Bournemouth development squad defender Archie Harris has joined National League South outfit Torquay United on a work experience loan.
Harris could be in line to feature when the Gulls host Yeovil Town in the second round of the FA Trophy at Plainmoor on Saturday.
The versatile 18-year-old made two substitute appearances for Poole Town in the Southern Premier League at the start of this month.
He was recalled by the Cherries and started the Servio Hampshire Men’s Senior Cup victory over Havant & Waterlooville on Wednesday.
Harris, who joined the Cherries as an 11-year-old, was elevated to the development squad at the start of this season having completed his two-year scholarship.
