Malachi Ogunleye marked his return from injury by scoring on his development squad debut in their 4-0 win over Folland Sports in the Servio Hampshire Men’s Senior Cup on Tuesday.

The teenage midfielder came off the bench to complete the scoring against the Wessex One outfit with a finely-taken goal two minutes from time at the Arrow Arena.

Under-18 teammates Jack Holman and Josh Salmon combined to create the opening for Ogunleye, the trio having been involved in the FA Youth Cup against Tottenham 24 hours earlier.

Jonny Stuttle, who was also on the scoresheet against the Planemakers, was another player to feature against Spurs at AFC Wimbledon on Monday, as did midfielder Charlie Osborne, who played 84 minutes against Follands.

Baylin Johnson drew first blood for the Cherries five minutes into the second half before Lewis Brown doubled their lead from the penalty spot after Stuttle had been fouled.

Stuttle made it 3-0 after latching on to Archie Harris’s slide-rule pass before Ogunleye arrowed a shot into the bottom corner to make it 4-0 late on.

Beaten finalists last season, the Cherries are joined in the semi-final draw by AFC Portchester and AFC Totton, while Southampton face Horndean for the last spot later this month.
