AFC Bournemouth development squad frontman Marcus Daws has returned to Poole Town on a work experience loan.

Daws netted once in nine appearances for the Southern Premier South outfit after joining them on a similar basis in February.

Since then, the 18-year-old has been elevated to the Cherries development squad and earned his first cap for Northern Ireland under-21s.

Daws, a third-year scholar, graduated from the under-18s after helping them reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup and win the EFL Youth Alliance title last season.

He made his debut for Northern Ireland in their 1-1 draw with Lithuania in a European Championship Under-21 qualifier in Alytus in June.

Daws featured for the development squad in their pre-season friendly against the Dolphins last month and is expected to be involved when they open their league campaign at promoted Winchester City on Saturday.
