Cordner Loaned to Scunthorpe

Tyler Cordner will play in League Two in 2020/21 after agreeing a season-long loan deal with Scunthorpe United.

Ahead of making the temporary switch to Glandford Park the central defender signed a one-year contract extension with the Cherries.

The move gives Cordner a first chance to play in the EFL after spending the last two years on loan in the National League.

Last season the 21-year-old made 23 appearances for Ebbsfleet, while in 2018/19 Cordner turned out 34 times for Havant & Waterlooville at the same level.

With the Iron for the campaign to come, Cordner will link up with fellow Cherries loanee Frank Vincent, with the midfielder also joining the Lincolnshire side earlier this month.
