Bevan makes Yeovil loan move

AFC Bournemouth defender Owen Bevan has joined Yeovil Town on loan for the rest of the season.

The 18-year-old joined the Cherries at the age of nine and has progressed through the club’s academy.

He was appointed captain of the under-18s ahead of the 2021/22 season and skippered Alan Connell’s side to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup and the EFL Youth Alliance title last term.

He has since successfully graduated to the development squad at Vitality Stadium and also trains regularly with the first-team squad. 

Bevan made his Premier League debut when he came off the bench against Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

Born in Winchester, Bevan qualifies for Wales through is mother and has been capped at under-16, under-17 and under-19 level for Wales.
