Vacancy: Female Elite Player Programme Co-Ordinator

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust are recruiting for a Female Elite Player Programme Co-ordinator to work within our Female Elite Player Programme at Brockenhurst College.

Accountable to: Women and Girls Development Officer and Senior Manager

Location: Primarily based at Brockenhurst College

Hours: Full-Time

Closing Date: Monday 27th August 

Key responsibilities and duties

  • To plan, prepare and evaluate sessions on a daily basis, along with matchdays.
  • To be enthusiastic about female player development.
  • To have a key understanding and experience of dealing with adult female players.
  • To liaise with Brockenhurst College on every player to ensure a holistic approach to their academic development.
  • To drive the programme forward and create a full-time environment for players to strive.
  • To create links with local organisations for regular Community activities. 

Required qualifications and experience 

  • FA Level 2 Certificate in Football Coaching.
  • FA licensed coach.
  • Good knowledge and experience of the female football pathway and have worked in a similar or related role.
  • Experience of working with female players.
  • Ability to relate to the age group.
  • A student of the game, continuously looking to improve and develop self and others.
  • A dynamic, hardworking and enthusiastic individual.
  • To promote AFC Bournemouth in a positive and professional manner.
  • Drive to create to programme of wider social engagement throughout the local community. 

Desired qualifications and experience 

  • FA Level 3 (UEFA B) Certificate in Football Coaching. 
  • Proficient IT skills. 
  • Have or be willing to attain D1 minibus driving license. 

Priority will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience of working with female players. 
  • High-level qualifications and experience. 
  • Evidence of working within Higher Education or Further Education environments.
