AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Last weekend saw plenty of action for our girls teams, with the under-14s and under-16s in action.

Take a look at how they got on below.

Under 14

The under-14s travelled to Millwall in the Junior Premier League and were narrowly defeated 1-0 by by a second half strike.

Amelia's low shot was saved moments before, while Kayleigh kept the scored down for the Cherries after diving low to push a shot round the post.

Both sides had plenty of chances, but it was the Lions who came away with all three points.

Under 16

The under-16s hosted Tottenham, also in the Junior Premier League.

Spurs went 1-0 up after 20 minutes when the Cherries failed to clear the ball, but Charlotte K levelled moments later with a close-range finish.

After the break, three quick goals from the visitors gave them some space to breathe, but Kristina struck late to add more pressure in the final stages.

The side, however, couldn't find the net again and it finished 4-2 to Spurs.
