Teachers PE CPD Event at Vitality Stadium

Vitality Stadium will play host to an FA Primary Teachers' event.

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust and the FA will host the Teachers' Continued Professional Development event at Vitality Stadium on Thursday 25th January 2018, from 9am until 3pm.

The six-hour event, open to all qualified and those working towards Primary Stars teachers and Higher Level teaching assistants, is designed to provide a basic introduction to the skills required when planning a Key Stage 1 or 2 Physical Education lesson, involving football and other invasion games.

The course will also cover movement skills, different types of practises and games linked to the National Curriculum, as well as how teachers might run a school sports team.

Finally, it course will also look at how differentiation and assessment for learning can be embedded within PE Lessons.

There are 30 places available on the course, which will be offered on a first-come-first-served bases and all bookings are to be made through the Premier League Primary Stars Project Lead, Matt Divine on [email protected].
