Chris Mepham has been spending time with children in the local area, taking part in a question-and-answer session over Zoom.
Attendees from the club’s Premier League Kicks programme were treated to a special call with the defender after their regular training session have had to be put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With the event supported by Bournemouth and Poole College, Mepham answered questions on his career to date, discussed his favourite footballing memories and gave some great advice on how to become a professional footballer.
Having been appointed the Premier League Kicks player ambassador at the start of last season, he also attended a session in person before the Covid-19 pandemic halted such appearances.
Once again, he was able to speak about his time as an academy player and what his daily routine at AFC Bournemouth now involves.
After a brilliant two years of work within the local area and Premier League Kicks participants, Steve Cuss shared his delight with afcb.co.uk.

Matthew Butcher, commercial director of Bournemouth and Poole College, also added their thoughts on the role that Mepham has played in the club’s Premier League Kicks programme and how proud they are to support it.
