March donations announced for Community Fund

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth's Cherries Community Fund has recently donated £5,410 into the local community in the latest panel of donations.

The following donations have been awarded to local causes in the area:

  • £900 donated to Bournemouth Electric Bowls Club for ‘Bowlers Arms’.
  • £1000 donated to Poole Waste Not Want Not for ‘Easter Parcels’ for 104 families.
  • £800 donated to Swan's U13 Rugby Club purchase kit for the team. 
  • £910 donated to Wool CE Primary School for two picnic benches for the ‘Learning Outdoors’ project.
  • £800 donated The Sheiling Special Education Trust for transport costs for the ‘Accessing Active and Leisure Activities within the Community’ project. 
  • £1,000 donated to Autism Unlimited towards items for the ‘Lending Library’ project. 
  • £1,000 donated to Autism Unlimited towards items for the ‘Lending Library’ project. 

The total donated from this panel is £5,410.00 meaning an overall total since the fund started of £167,457.80 has been given to worthy causes!
