AFC Bournemouth under-10 and under-12 teams headed to the Garrison Ground in Winchester, searching to become the Inter-Cup winners for their respective age groups.

The under-10s played Hampshire-based side Pace Lynx in their final.

The game started evenly, with both teams working extremely hard from the off searching for the opening goal.

But it was the Cherries who broke the deadlock through Kelcey, who finished from close range, reacting well from Georgia’s shot which initially hit the post.

Shortly after, Tilly scored AFC Bournemouth’s second goal, after her left-footed shot was well placed in the corner of the Pace net.

Following the break, the Cherries took control to extend their lead further, with Zara bursting forward from midfield twice and beating the 'keeper on both occasions.

A final score of 4-0 saw the side crowned Inter Cup champions for the under-10 age group.

Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth under-12s started the day in the semi-finals, where they faced Oakley FC.

After a fantastic display, the girls won 11-0, meaning they would face New Milton Ladies for the trophy.

After a short break, the final was underway, with both sides starting strongly.

AFC Bournemouth soon opened the scoring, after Georgia netted with a long-range effort, which ended up in the top right-hand corner.

The positive start was paying off and the Cherries were duly rewarded for their effort, with Emily S. scoring from outside of the area after a low driven shot flew in for 2-0.

However, New Milton responded extremely well, with a neat passage of play finding their striker in space, whose shot lobbed AFC Bournemouth 'keeper Maddie to half the deficit.

Nevertheless, a fantastic spell late on in the first half saw Emily A. score with a neat finish, before Lucy C. scored three quick fire goals, which put the under-12s into a commanding 6-1 lead at half time.

The second period started with New Milton scoring their second goal of the game, but the Cherries allowed them no way back into the game.

AFC Bournemouth then responded very well, with both Aimee C. and Amiee L. scoring a goal a piece and extending the Cherries' lead to 8-2.

The under-12s then finished a commanding performance off, with a late goal, which was scored by Emily S. for her second of the game.
