Get Fit with Community Sports Trust this January

AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust are delighted to be continuing male and female fitness initiatives this January.

The existing Cherries Fit Challenge for men aged 35+ has been altered for 2019 and will now just include sport-based activities at Vitality Stadium on a Thursday evening.

The sessions, which will run between 7.30-8.30pm, weekly will be open to all men aged 35+ and take place on the AFC Bournemouth 3G training pitches.

New for 2019 will be a Women’s Cherries Fit Challenge, which will also take place on a Thursday evening at Vitality Stadium.

The gym-based session will take place at the fitness gyms at Vitality Stadium every Thursday evening 7.30-8.30pm, and is open to all women aged 35+.

Head of community Steve Cuss spoke to afcb.co.uk about the fitness programmes.

“We are delighted to be continuing our fitness sessions for our supporters,” he said.

“The male sessions have proved very popular and we are pleased to be delivering a female only session to further promote positive health and well-being.”

The Goals sessions launch on Thursday 3rd January and are free to all those who attend. To sign up, just email steve.cuss@afcb.co.uk.
