AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust coaches have returned from a week-long coaching trip to Brisbane, Australia.
Working in partnership with Gregory Terrace, St Joseph’s College, the coaches worked with over 100 young people in soccer school style coaching sessions at the Tennyson football fields.
Whilst also in Brisbane, the Community Sports Trust also worked with Brisbane City Football Club, offering coach education sessions for the Brisbane City coaching staff.
This is the second trip to Australia made by the Community Sports Trust, as part of the partnership with the college, who will next year visit Bournemouth with a number of students on a football tour.
Head of community, Steve Cuss, summed up the trip to Brisbane.
“Our partnership with Gregory Terrace continues to flourish and we were delighted to re-visit Brisbane and deliver coaching sessions to the pupils ahead of their school football season starting.”
