AFC Bournemouth's Cherries Community Fund has recently donated nearly £7,000 into the local community in the latest panel of donations.
The following donations have been awarded to local causes in the area:
£500 donated to the Christchurch Hospital’s ‘Brick by Brick’ campaign.
£850 donated to Thomas Wareham to purchase a wheelchair riser needed to enhance independence around the home.
£996 donated to Wessex Cancer Trust towards replacement IT equipment for users and volunteers.
£1,000 donated to Verwood Pantomime Society towards the cost of implementing bespoke changing segregation.
£1,000 donated to purchase an NSPCC ‘Pantosaurus’ mascot suit, for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
£1,000 donated to the refurbishment of Lulworth and Winfrith Primary School’s pool facilities.
£500 given to Parkstone Grammar School to purchase Goal Posts in order to host home matches and enhance training sessions.
£800 donated to Bournemouth Parks Foundation for their Knyverton Gardens Project.
The total donated from this panel is £6,646 meaning an overall total since the fund started of £125,908.82 has been given to worthy causes!
