AFC Bournemouth
Following a successful summer programme, AFC Bournemouth and the Community Sports Trust are proud to be partnering with the Anglo-Continental School of English for a third successive year.
This innovative course combines 20 lessons per week of quality English language tuition with a timetable of football coaching, leisure activities and excursions.
Targeted at both male and female students from 10–20 years of age, all levels of English and football ability are welcome on these stimulating and immersive two-week courses, which are next available from 2nd July until 4th August 2018.
AFC Bournemouth and Anglo-Continental are also able to offer these courses to groups of students throughout the year and customised programmes can be prepared according to the group’s individual requirements.
Guido Schillig, Managing Director of Anglo-Continental spoke of his delight at the partnership.
“Football is renowned for its ability to cross barriers and bring people together to celebrate their love of the game,” he said.
“The idea to combine the passion for football with the opportunity to learn new English skills and practice English in England led to Anglo-Continental and AFC Bournemouth developing Anglo-Continental’s English + Football Course.
“We look forward to another successful year of partnership with AFC Bournemouth.”
Head of Community, Steve Cuss also added: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Anglo-Continental offering football coaching to visiting students throughout 2018.”
Thibault who studied on the English + Football Course during 2017 also shared his thoughts on the course.
“It was a fantastic experience that everyone who practises football on a regular basis should try,” he said.
“The coaches were very nice and gave me a lot of advice and techniques to improve my game. It was also a very good way to improve my English with students from different cultures.”
