Cherries to Host an Evening with Proud Cherries

On Monday 8th April, AFC Bournemouth will be opening the doors to Vitality Stadium for an evening of discussion and debate on equality and diversity in football.

Organised by Proud Cherries, the event will see influential people within the game come together to discuss current issues and challenges surrounding discrimination and inclusion.

Speakers include Proud Cherries patrons Mark McAdam and Sophie Cook, Anwar Uddin from the Football Supporters Federation, Chris Paouros from Proud Lilywhites, and Ryan Atkin, the first openly gay professional referee in the UK.

Louise Clarke from Proud Cherries said, “We are really excited to be bringing together the diverse AFC Bournemouth fan base and friends, to discuss equality and diversity in football.”
