Chairman Jeff Mostyn, commercial director Rob Mitchell and equality partnerships executive Ben Abberstein presented cheques to the club’s charity partners for the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.

Each charity will receive £3,179.28 and was also given additional items of signed merchandise after the club extended its charity partnerships last year to include a second season.

Speaking about the cheque presentation, Jeff Mostyn said: “When we welcomed Dorset Search and Rescue, PramaLife, Autism Wessex and Access Dorset as our charity partners two years ago, I never imagined we would have been facing the additional challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“As we now conclude our charity partnerships, I am reflecting on the significance of these challenges in terms of our enriched relations with these organisations, who continued to work with and support some of the hardest hit communities in our area.

“After witnessing the incredible efforts undertaken to adapt to meet new needs and demands, it was a truly special moment to be able to safely welcome them back to Vitality Stadium in person.”

Details on how to vote for the club’s 2021/22 charity partners will be announced shortly.
