Westover Group donate mascot package to fan

Young supporter Ben Yarrow was given a once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to AFC Bournemouth’s Official Motor Partner, Westover Group.

Ahead of the Cherries’ 4-2 win over Leicester City on Saturday, Ben walked out with the team at Vitality Stadium, side-by-side with his favourite player David Brooks.

He was also given a pre-match tour of the ground before kick-off, allowed entry into the dressing room to meet the players and get autographs, and he received a 2018/19 replica shirt to ensure he looked the part!

The opportunity came about thanks to club partner, Westover Group, who donated the package to Wave 105’s cash for kids, an initiative which looks to support vulnerable children live life to the full.

Nine-year-old Ben lost his father in the summer of 2017, with football and AFC Bournemouth being a huge part of him coping.

Mosiac, who work with Wave 105, wanted to offer him the chance to be a mascot in order to make some fantastic memories which will last a lifetime, as well as provide him with the opportunity to finally meet some of the people who have unknowingly supported him through his grief.

AFC Bournemouth would like to extend their thanks to Official Motor Partner, Westover Group, for providing the mascot opportunity for Ben.
