Former England cricketer and Question Of Sport team captain Phil Tufnell was part of an entertaining Sportsman’s Dinner at Vitality Stadium.
Sponsored by Suttles, over 200 guests were present for the annual event and enjoyed a luxurious three-course meal in the esteemed Balfour Suite.
MC Jed Stone led the evening, hosting an entertaining and insightful question and answer session with Tufnell before finishing the evening with a lively set.
Tufnell was on hand to share tales of his storied career as well as some entertaining anecdotes from not only his England playing days but his TV career as well.
“I was delighted to be invited down,” Phil said.
“It’s a wonderful little stadium only five minutes away from the beach! Bournemouth are going from strength to strength and have cemented themselves in the Premier League - fair play to them, it’s a wonderful family atmosphere here.”
Commercial director Rob Mitchell added: “We’ve had football and rugby speakers over the years but we haven’t really had a cricket guest speaker, so Phil was the perfect fit with his successful career and high profile in the media.
