Junior Cherries partner Splashdown recently ran a competition for one lucky Bournemouth fan to walk out with the team ahead of last weekend’s Premier League fixture against Leicester City.
Jacob Lopes correctly answered Ryan Fraser on Facebook, as Splashdown asked who scored the Cherries’ first top flight goal this season.
As a result, the youngster was randomly chosen for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Jacob’s package included four tickets to the game, a pre-match tour of Vitality Stadium, entry into the dressing room to meet the players and get autographs, a photograph with his favourite player Asmir Begovic and the opportunity to walk out with the Cherries team in a new replica kit.
A brace from Ryan Fraser, as well as a Joshua King penalty and an Adam Smith strike, helped the Cherries to a 4-2 victory, making Jacob’s day even more memorable.
