Over 80 local players took part in AFC Business’ Corporate Golf Day which took place ahead of Ryder Cup weekend.
22 teams were fighting for top spot at the picturesque Isle of Purbeck Golf Club over 18 holes.
After enjoying a breakfast upon arrival, the sunshine came out for the players with the course in fine condition.
The aptly named team, Diamonds In The Rough, represented local jewellers Michael Matthews and they secured gold by winning the event.
The Charity Challenge was won by Travis Perkins’ team ‘Team Pricey’ and after the day’s golfing all teams enjoyed an exquisite two-course meal at the club’s facilities.
