Michael Matthews Jewellery are continuing their association with the club by becoming regional supporters of AFC Bournemouth for the 2021/22 season.

The jewellers – who have showrooms in Bournemouth and Fareham – will be well seen as they continue to sponsor the club’s Player of the Month award.

With the award supporters are given the chance to vote for their top Cherries player at the end of each month, the most recent prizes being won by Jordan Zemura for his standout performances in August and Gary Cahill for his defensive solidity in Spetember.

Michael Matthews Jewellery also support and attend AFC Bournemouth’s corporate golf days during the year, and as part of the agreement will also have advertising around the ground and a presence at Vitality Stadium on matchdays.

Matt Corica, director at Michael Matthews Jewellery, explained further about the partnership saying, “We are delighted to continue our association with our local club and remarkably excited by the squad being put together by the new management team.”

Amy Marks, partnerships manager at AFC Bournemouth, added: “We have worked with Michael Matthews for a number of seasons now, and. Are really pleased to continue doing so.

“With the start of the season being so fruitful for the Cherries, it was wonderful to see one of our younger players in Jordan Zemura winning the Michael Matthews Player of the Month award for August, hopefully he’ll go from strength to strength as the season continues.”
