Junior Cherries partner, Hot Rocks, kindly donated a mascot package for last Saturday’s game against Wolves to local charity Julia’s House.
The organisation is a children’s hospice in Poole, which provides practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting condition.
Darcie Warman was chosen for the prize and walked out with Cherries winger Ryan Fraser ahead of the 3pm kick-off.
Additionally, Darcie was lucky enough to meet all the players in the home changing room ahead of the game, collecting autographs and getting photos in the process.
She was also given a pre-match tour of Vitality Stadium and was provided with a brand new 2019/20 replica home kit, as well as two match tickets so that a family member could come and watch her moment in the spotlight.
AFC Bournemouth would like to extend its thanks to Hot Rocks for providing such a memorable experience for Darcie.
All Junior Cherries are eligible to get a kids’ meal for just £1, with every adult ordering a main course; Hot Rocks then donate the £1 to Julia’s House. Junior Cherries can also get a free Nathan Ake pizza when flashing their membership card during the 2019/20 season.
