AFC Bournemouth
Essie Homes were crowned champions of the AFC Bournemouth corporate golf day at the Dorset Golf & Country Club Resort on Friday.
The event, which was again sponsored by Skill Scaffolding Limited, was staged on a sun-baked course in excellent condition with 20 local businesses doing battle for the trophy.
With the two best scores on the front nine and best three on the back nine to count, competition was strong and Essie Homes won with a score of 112 Stableford points.
They were closely followed by Coverworld Construction, who claimed the runners-up position with 108 points, and Skill Scaffolding II with 107 points in third place.
The winners of the Par 3 Charity Challenge were Sam Scaffolding Dorset with 34 points accrued on all par 3s when all four players’ scores were counted.
Guests enjoyed refreshments on course during their round and a sumptuous hot and cold buffet selection followed by dessert.

The AFC Bournemouth corporate golf days have raised in excess of £3,000 for each of the club’s charity partners for 2020/21 – PramaLife, Dorset Search & Rescue, Access Dorset and Autism Wessex.
