Club proud to support Yellow Buses

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth has recently entered into its fifth season of partnership with local company, Yellow Buses.

The club is proud to keep working alongside the firm, who are continuing their tireless efforts to support the community in Dorset throughout lockdown.

They have provided travel for key workers and local residents, who have had to make essential journeys within the area.

Yellow Buses and Yellow Coaches in Bournemouth have also amended their “thank you” bus to reflect the efforts of staff across the business, who have continued to work throughout the pandemic.

Throughout the ever-changing circumstances, Yellow Buses have been a constant to many and AFC Bournemouth is proud of the unsung work they continue to do.

Amy Marks, partnerships manager at AFC Bournemouth, spoke of the brilliant work being done.

“We’re really proud to be supporting Yellow Buses,” she began.

“They are doing a fantastic job in making sure that our community still has access to travel and that travellers are reassured with the safety measures being implemented.”

“While we should all be staying at home, there are key workers and other individuals who rely on the buses for essential journeys and we are thankful they still have that option.”

The travel company are official partners of the Community Sports Trust and support our Soccer Safety project. For more information, just click here.

If you are someone that needs to make an essential journey, you can find a 2021 update from Yellow Buses here. Alternatively, information for anyone travelling to a vaccination can be found here.
