AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth have renewed their partnership with recovery specialists AECC University College for the remainder of the 2017/18 season.
AECC University College’s Chiropractic Clinic is one of the largest chiropractic treatment and teaching facilities in Europe, and are the club’s official performance and rehabilitation supporter. Since becoming partners in 2013, AECC University College have provided support to the first team, development squad and youth team with state-of-the-art equipment and specialist facilities ensuring the Cherries are in safe hands.
The University College’s student interns will continue to provide support to the Cherries’ medical team and football staff in the season, supervised by Angelo Battiston, Clinic Tutor, who works directly with the first team squad to play a key role with injury rehabilitation.
AFC Bournemouth also extend congratulations to the institution after recently receiving University College status and becoming Bournemouth’s latest Higher Education Institution.
AECC University College’s Principal, Professor Haymo Thiel, commented: "A good measure of a Higher Education Institution’s value is found in the contribution it makes to the communities it serves. We are therefore excited about the continuing relationship that we have with AFC Bournemouth."
To celebrate, AECC University College became executive partners of AFC Business, the club’s free to join business club which boasts over 1,600 members. This also allows the University College attendance to special corporate events, matchday hospitality as well as sponsorship of midfielder Dan Gosling’s home and away players kit.
