AFC Bournemouth
Vehicle hire specialists Abacus have extended their support of AFC Bournemouth.
Signing on for another two seasons, the local firm will continue to support both the first team and youth squads.
Vans have been provided in recent years to help transport kit and equipment, while the club now has two Ford minibuses, courtesy of Abacus, to help facilitate the team’s transport requirements.
Abacus, a family-owned business which has been trading for 35 years, provide cars, vans, trucks, minibuses, MPVs and motorhomes for hire.
The company now operates 850 vehicles which cover a wider and more diverse range than most other rental companies.
Dave Wolfenden, managing director of Abacus, is a keen supporter of the club and often attends AFC Business events at Vitality Stadium.
After extending the partnership, he spoke with afcb.co.uk: "AFC Bournemouth have been a part of our lives for decades now and it is really an honour to be associated with the club.
"It is a club that continually pushes forward and never settles for second best, whilst still embracing the strong family values which are at the core of the it and so important to us as sponsors."
Brian Benjafield, commercial executive at AFC Bournemouth, also discussed his delight at getting the deal over the line.
“It’s great to have Abacus on board for another two seasons and we’ve been really grateful for their support over the years.
“They’re a big sponsor for our first team and youth teams, and their vehicles are seen all around the club.”
