Club recipe: Dark and stormy cocktail

We've got something different this week, with a cocktail as our latest club recipe!

This cocktail is a customer favourite in the Top Floor Restaurant on a matchday and we've put all the details together for you to try at home! 

Ingredients

  • Tall glass
  • 12.5ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ginger beer (quantity dependent on glass used)
  • 50ml dark rum
  • Angostura bitters
  • Lime & a straw to garnish

Method

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add 12.5ml of freshly squeezed lime juice.
  3. Add a good quality ginger beer, stirring gently and leaving enough room for 50ml of liquid at the top of the glass.
  4. Slowly pour 50ml of dark rum and a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters into the glass so they float above the ginger beer and lime.
  5. Garnish with a wheel of lime and a straw.
