Yann Kermorgant will be fondly remembered for playing a leading role in AFC Bournemouth’s recent history, the striker proving pivotal as the club reached the Premier League.
Frenchman Kermorgant, who spent two successful years at Vitality Stadium, this week announced his retirement following a distinguished career, both in England and France.
A huge fans’ favourite at Charlton Athletic, Kermorgant was also revered by Cherries supporters after joining the club in January 2014.
He netted 15 goals as Eddie Howe’s team won promotion to the top flight for the first time in the club’s history, a season Kermorgant still gets “goosebumps thinking about”.
