Callum Wilson is the first don a classic AFC Bournemouth kit in Saturday's season-opening match with Sheffield United.

For the new season we'll be celebrating our kit history by asking our current squad to wear classic Cherries shirts, linking the past to the present.

England striker Wilson is the first to get involved, wearing the so-called 'pizza shirt' from the early 90s, and better yet wearing it while paddle boarding with the MATCHDAY team in Poole Harbour.

He then sat down to discuss what summer means to him, VAR goals with the Three Lions and how ready he is for the new season.

The good news is that MATCHDAY remains priced at £3.50 for 2019/20.

The even better news is that MATCHDAY is still 100-pages and includes the 16-page Extra Time pull-out; with a brilliant new comic-book design, packed full of quizzes, facts, colouring challenges and the mega fold-out poster of Wilson.

Features to look forward to for the visit of Sheffield United include:

  1. As we enter a fifth successive Premier League season, five men integral to the present day - namely Philip Billing, Lewis Cook, coach Stephen Purches, Steve Cook and Jack Stacey - dissect how we got here and he we keep pushing forwards.
  2. In a series of new features, we catch up with former heroes Mark Morris and Claus Jorgensen to talk about their best moments in Cherries colours.
  3. Blades legend Kevin Gage explains his former side's route to the Premier League as well as giving details on their manager - and his former team-mate - Chris Wilder.

Plus there's everything else you'd expect: word for the manager, news from the Women's team, the under-21s and under-18s, quizzes and the most comprehensive opposition section we know of.

As well as the physical copies, which can also be bought online here, you can also download a digital version (here for iOS and here for Android) which is now compatible with screen readers.

Make sure you don't miss out and pick up a copy of MATCHDAY ahead of kick-off.
