Who, where & when for internationals?

A number of AFC Bournemouth players have received international call-ups, and we've collected together the matches they could be involved in before they return to Dorset. 

Chris Mepham will be hoping to play his part in one of Wales's most important fixtures in recent history, taking on Austria in a World Cup qualifying play-off semi-final.

With the final postponed, Wales will play a friendly on Tuesday 29th March, with the opponent to be confirmed. If they lose the fixture with Austria, they'll take on Scotland. If they win the fixture with Austria, they'll face either Sweden or Czech Republic.

With Scotland's World Cup play-off semi-final postponed, Ryan Christie could add to his 26 caps with two friendly fixtures. He will take on Poland at Hampden Park and could come head to head with teammate Chris Mepham when they face the loser of Wales v Austria in a second friendly.

In South America, Jefferson Lerma will represent Colombia in their crucial World Cup qualifiers with Bolivia and Venezuela. With Colombia sitting in 7th position, their chances are slim but they are just four points behind Peru in 5th position, a play-off qualification place.

Gavin Kilkenny's Republic of Ireland under-21s will want to keep the pressure on Italy in their 2023 UEFA European Championship qualification group with a win over Sweden next week. Ireland are just three points off Italy, who occupy second place, with four matches to go.

January signing James Hill could represent England under-20s as they face off with Poland and Germany in their latest Elite League fixtures.
