Watch: Goal of the Season contenders

Arnaut Danjuma started the ball rolling, his superbly-executed effort earning the Cherries a 3-2 win over Blackburn on the opening day of the season.

Dan Gosling’s 30-yard screamer at Coventry won the October award, while Lewis Cook’s ripsnorter against Reading banked the trophy in November.

Diego Rico was a deserving winner of the December award for his venomous free-kick at Barnsley. Jack Wilshere netted the first of his two winners against Crawley Town in the FA Cup, and the next month started and finished the move which saw him land the spoils in February.

Phil Billing posted his contender to draw first blood against Swansea in March before some Danjuma magic did the trick at Norwich in April.

The most unlikely entry is provided by Mark Travers, the goalkeeper coming up for a corner and heading home a dramatic equaliser in the Hampshire Senior Cup final against Eastleigh in May.

But it’s your choice so get voting below!

Voting closes at 5pm on Wednesday 9th June, with the form below the only way to have your say in crowning the winner.
