Vitality Dressed to Impress

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

While the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the Premier League to start without supporters allowed in to watch matches, Vitality Stadium has been specially dressed ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace.

The game is the first ever in the Premier League to be shown live on the BBC, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

With supporters unable to attend the match, a series of banners have been placed over the seating, giving thanks to key workers as well as displaying positive club-specific slogans and messages.

The players will wear their new home kit for the first time for the match, with the shirt proudly displaying a badge thanking the NHS on the front, while a Black Lives Matter patch sits on one sleeve.

Players from both teams will also have the wording Black Lives Matters replacing their names above their numbers on the back of their shirts.
