Stewart moves into first-team GK role

Gareth Stewart has moved into the assistant first-team goalkeeping coach role at AFC Bournemouth.

The change in position for the former Cherries 'keeper comes after Anthony White accepted a position coaching with the FA in the England men's set-up.

Working under head of goalkeeping Neil Moss, Stewart switches to the first-team role from his previous position with the under-21s.

Former Wales international Lewis Price has joined the club as under-21 goalkeeper coach and assistant academy goalkeeping coach.

After retiring as a player at Championship side Rotherham United earlier this season, joining the Cherries fulfills an ambition for Branksome-raised Price to make the move into coaching with his hometown club.

Billy Granger becomes under-18 goalkeeper coach and head of academy goalkeeping, replacing Joe Prodomo after he joined Southend United as first-team goalkeeping coach.
