Stadium naming rights extended with Vitality

AFC Bournemouth are delighted to announce a three-season extension to their stadium naming rights agreement with official wellness partner, Vitality.

The Cherries’ home ground has been named Vitality Stadium since 2015 and with the new deal, it will remain so until the summer of 2023.

The current deal not only includes the stadium naming rights, but naming rights for three stands; Vitality Steve Fletcher North Stand, Vitality East Stand and Vitality Main Stand.

AFC Bournemouth and Vitality have enjoyed a hugely successful partnership over the past five years, benefiting supporters and the wider community.

The innovative health and life insurance and investment company, which is a significant employer in Bournemouth, is also headline partner of the club’s Community Sports Trust, which delivers sessions to children and adults of all ages across sites in Dorset and the Isle of Wight.

“We are thrilled that we have extended our partnership with Vitality until 2023 and are looking forward to building on the success of the last five seasons,” said AFC Bournemouth commercial director, Rob Mitchell.

“Vitality is an important partner of AFC Bournemouth and shares our commitment to delivering initiatives which can be of benefit to our supporters and the wider community.”

Neville Koopowitz, CEO of Vitality, said: “We are delighted to be building on the long-standing relationship that Vitality has with AFC Bournemouth with this extension of our partnership, reflecting our continued commitment to the club.

“AFC Bournemouth plays an important role within the local community, promoting the benefits of being active and inspiring its supporters and beyond to live healthy lifestyles - values which align closely with Vitality’s core purpose, to make people healthier and to enhance and protect their lives.”

The partnership is in addition to Vitality’s existing role as official wellness partner of AFC Bournemouth Women, which was announced earlier this year.
