Dominic Solanke's sensational back-heel against Huddersfield Town has been voted as March's Goal of the Month.

It was one of two goals that the striker had nominated for the award, with his low strike against Reading also featuring in the top four.

The back-heel topped our poll on Twitter with 42.4% of the vote, ahead of his goal against the Royals (28.9%), women's full-back Abby Jones (18.8%) and Jaidon Anthony (10%), who also bagged against the Terriers.

Solanke's smart finish came from a Philip Billing square ball, the number nine dispatching the cross at the first time of asking. It was the third and final goal of a superb afternoon in West Yorkshire.

It capped off a solid month for the first team, with two wins, two draws and one defeat in the Sky Bet Championship, Solanke netting three goals and two assists across the four-week period.

He received his Goal of the Month award, provided by sponsors Strategic Solutions, at Vitality Stadium earlier this week.

The club would like to extend its thanks to Strategic Solutions for their continued support of the competition.
