Rico on track for Wolves

Diego Rico chose his classic Cherries shirt and gave a revealing interview ahead of Saturday's match with Wolves.

The Spaniard has pinned down the left-back role in the Cherries team in recent weeks and spoke exclusively to MATCHDAY about his young life in Spain, being on the radar of Real Madrid and how he has managed to adapt to both English football and life since his arrival 18 months ago.

Rico also selected a rare late 1980s away shirt for his photoshoot, with a full gallery of images and information on the shirt also included within Saturday's issue.

Miles of coverage

Having most recently headed all the way to Newcastle, Cherries fans will be aware of the miles often covered as a football fan.

MATCHDAY speaks to Anwar Ahmed, a Wolves fan who has been from Yerevan to Bratislava as a fan this season, going to all of Wolves' Europa League away matches and reporting back on his experiences around the continent.

If you know your history...

The Cherries' matchday programme is renowned for it's historical pages, and as well as expert pages from Mark Mitchener, Gareth Davies and club historian Neil Vacher, with tales of Gerry Peyton, Ron Tilsed and Sean O'Driscoll included, there are three special interviews with former heroes this weekend.

Neil Masters, who now lives and coaches in Norway, speaks about his highs and lows with the Cherries and Wolves, while Paul Mitchell and Joe Parkinson also talk about their time with the club.
