AFC Bournemouth can confirm its list of retained players following the end of the 2021/22 Sky Bet Championship season.

Gary Cahill is among five professionals to depart the club upon the conclusion of their contracts, alongside Brennan Camp, Ryan Glover, Connor Kurran-Browne and Luke Nippard.

Cahill made a significant impact following his arrival in August, playing 22 times as the Cherries secured automatic promotion to the Premier League.

With the former England international at the back, the Cherries went a club record 15 games unbeaten to start the season, eclipsing the previous best set by Bill McGarry’s team in 1961/62.

Camp made his senior debut for the club in the Carabao Cup game with Norwich City in August, completing a journey which began when he joined the club in 2007. Glover, Kurran-Browne and Nippard have spent much of the season on loan.

Discussions remain ongoing between Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady and the club, while options have been exercised on the contracts of Brooklyn Genesini, Jake Scrimshaw and Sam Sherring.

The club can also confirm that loan players Freddie Woodman, Nat Phillips, Ethan Laird, Todd Cantwell and Leif Davis will return to their parent clubs upon the conclusion of their loan spells.

Within the academy, the club can confirm that Owen Palmer, Aaron Roberts and Jack Seddon will leave the club when their contracts expire.

The club would like to thank all those departing players for their efforts during their time at Vitality Stadium and wish them well for the future.
