Poppy shirts up for auction

The official AFC Bournemouth match-worn poppy shirts from the games against Manchester United and Newcastle United in November are now up for auction.

Supporters can now bid to get their hands on the limited edition match shirts, each of which is signed by their respective player.

All proceeds from the bidding is in support of the Royal British Legion, who support serving members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, Royal Air Force, Reservists, veterans and their families.

The Cherries wore poppies on their shirts for the two games in November. The club’s traditional red and black home shirts were worn for the game against Manchester United at Vitality Stadium, whilst the third choice beach glass-coloured shirts were used for the game away at Newcastle United.
