Open training session enjoyed by all

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth welcomed fans to Vitality Stadium this morning for an open training session.

Eddie Howe and his players took to the turf for an hour and a half in front of approximately 1,000 Cherries fans.

Fitness exercises, ball work and small-sided games were all on the agenda, with the manager and club legend, Steve Fletcher, both addressing the fans on a microphone across the course of the morning.

As well as first team training, the under-10 and under-12 girls were also given the opportunity to play on the pitch, as well as our Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy teams.

Football freestyler, Steve Gray, was also on hand to provide entertainment and Cherry Bear was on hand to pose for photos and sign some autographs.

A full gallery of the event can be seen above.
