AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

It was a round full of big results, as the Premier League teams played out a mid-week fixture list.

The Cherries of course won at Chelsea, but Swansea also pulled off an excellent result against Arsenal, whilst Spurs also defeated Manchester United 2-0.

But, what does that mean for Fantasy Premier League users?

An average score of 47 points saw a mixed week for most, but AFC Bournemouth fans fared particularly well due to the result at Stamford Bridge.

Gary Whitfield was the Cherries fan who scored highest this week with 104 points.

Callum Wilson was his star striker, bagging a score of 12, whilst Kevin De Bruyne as captain also saw a further 28 points added.

Two goals for Everton new man Theo Walcott, as well as two assists for Raheem Sterling meant that the pair scored a combined total of 25, whilst Kyle Walked gained six points for his clean sheet.

However, it is Stefan Vukasinovic who heads the Cherries fan league with 1,616 points.

This week, a score of 56 was aided by Mo Salah bagging 16 as captain and Roberto Firmino also netting for Liverpool against Huddersfield.

Nicolas Otamendi also kept a clean sheet for six points and it was a wise move to place Phil Jones on the bench, after his own goal saw him finish on minus-two.

Hot on Stefan’s heels is Greg S., who had a largely similar team. He scored 65 points this week, taking his overall tally to 1,593.

Once again, Salah, Firmino and Otamendi featured, whilst Walcott and Sterling paved the way for an excellent week.

With Nathan Ake the Cherries’ highest scoring player in gameweek 25, with 14 points for his clean sheet and goal against his former club, it proved to be a good pick for the 224,001 that selected him.

Josh Dermody was the user who scored highest with Ake in his team, bagging 111 points.

Nick Pope in goal finished with 11 after saving a penalty, whilst triple captaining De Bruyne was another good decision made by Josh, with the Belgian gaining 42 points for his side.
