With no Cherries game last weekend, the show had to go on and it was still a high scoring week in the AFC Bournemouth fantasy football fan league.

Several used their free hit, whilst others played a bench boost in a week which saw only six matches take place.

Daniel Brett currently sits top of the AFC Bournemouth fan league on 2,225 points after a gameweek score of 73.

An excellent use of his free hit saw the points spread throughout his team. Jack Butland in goal picked up a score of five, whilst Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines both kept clean sheets for Everton, bagging 14 points between them.

In midfield, David Silva and Raheem Sterling both scored and got extra points for their clean sheet against Swansea, ending with scores of ten and 11 respectively. Mo Salah also scored the second of Liverpool’s goals and ended with seven points.

Up top, it was the combination of Danny Ings and Gabriel Jesus bringing home the points after both frontmen scored for their respective clubs.

Closely behind Daniel is Ivan Kasagga, who bagged 62 points in gameweek 35, taking his tally to 2,215.

Jordan Pickford scored six points for his clean sheet, whilst Patrick van Aanholt also bagged six at the back.

In midfield, it was the combination of Salah and Sterling bringing home the points once again, whilst up front Ashley Barnes, Gabriel Jesus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged a combined total of 18 points.

However, despite being ranked 22,087th in the Cherries fan league, it was Moustafa Saeid who top scored this week.

A clever bench boost and smart choice of Alexandre Lacazette as captain saw a final score of 97.

Wayne Hennessey was picked in goal, subsequently scoring ten points, whilst substitute ‘keeper Ederson scored six from the bench.

In defence, all the points came from James Tomkins after his clean sheet for Palace, with the popular Sterling, Salah and Jesus all producing the goods up field.
