Official FPL: Gameweek 29 round up

Joshua King, Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson celebrate after King scored his penalty against Leicester.

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

We have a new leader at the top of the AFC Bournemouth fan league, with Linda Macleod leading the way on 1,831 points.

With an overall rank of 313th, her score of 61 points was 15 above the gameweek average.

Her back three of Shane Duffy, Nicholas Otamendi and Moritz Bauer all kept clean sheets, amassing 18 points altogether, whilst Nick Pope in goal earned a bonus point for making three crucial saves.

In midfield, Mo Salah was once again the standout with eight points, whilst Harry Kane as captain was on hand to pick up a score of ten.

Additionally, Roberto Firmino’s goal added five to Linda’s tally, leaving her three points clear at the top of the Cherries league.

However, hot on her heels is Ivan Kasagga, who managed a gameweek score of 66.

Again, Otamendi was a popular choice, whilst Virgil van Dijk’s clean sheet for Liverpool also kept Ivan’s score high.

In midfield, it was Salah chosen as captain, accumulating a total of 16 points, whilst all three of the forwards in ‘Team Sagga’ bagged; Kane against Huddersfield, Firmino against Newcastle and Jordan Ayew against West Ham.

Nevertheless, despite some high totals, it was Bnadem Ser from Algeria who was the Cherries’ highest scorer this week with 110.

A back four of Serge Aurier, Wesley Hoedt, Jack Stephens and Daryl Janmaat scored a total of 27 points, with all players keeping a clean sheet.

In midfield, Heung-Min Son bagged an excellent 16 points, with a popular combination of Kane and Ayew up front once again.
