AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

With two gameweeks to go, the AFC Bournemouth fan league has a new leader and it’s Endre Berg Leiren who sits in pole position.

An excellent gameweek score of 120 saw his surge into first place.

At the back, Trent Alexander-Arnold kickstarted proceedings on Friday after his assist and clean sheet saw him finish on ten.

Further up the field, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota were both heavily involved in their respective games, the former with two goals and the latter with one and an assist.

With Sergio Aguero and Raul Jiminez both getting on the scoresheet up front too, it turned out to be an excellent week for Endre.

However, what capped off his gameweek was the decision to triple captain Mo Salah, who bagged two goals and an assist, as well as three bonus points.

Endre was one of 81,041 to triple captain the Egyptian, with a further 1,160,009 making him captain.

Hot on his heels, though, is regular front runner Adam Banaszczyk, who scored 101 points over the weekend. He sits four behind Endre in second in the Cherries fan league.

Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson top-scored at the back finishing on 14, his clean sheet and two assists proving pivotal and subsequently making him the first defender in the game to ever exceed 200 points.

Jota, Aguero and Jiminez were popular choices once again, scoring well for Adam but it was his triple captain choice that also paid off.

Sadio Mane’s two goals against Huddersfield on Friday night saw those that triple captained him pick up 39 points, as was the case for Adam. He was one of 654,931 to use this chip on the Senegal international in gameweek 36.

Wilson at the double

At just £6.7 million, Wilson provides a cheaper option up top on Fantasy Premier League and enjoyed yet another good week in front of goal at St. Mary’s.

His two strikes and assist for Dan Gosling’s opener, saw him pick up 16 points against Southampton and reach double figures in a single gameweek for the second time in three matches.

With money needed in other areas ahead of the conclusion of the title race, Wilson is an attractive proposition and his goal and assist on Saturday was the sixth time he’s scoring and made one in a game this season – more than any other Premier League player.

Assist king

With Ryan Fraser starting on the bench against Southampton, the 7,382 that chose to captain him were initially left disappointed.

However, 23 minutes in and the Scotland international was introduced and didn’t let users down. His assist for Wilson’s late goal, the 12th time that the two have combined this season, saw him collect five points for his efforts.

Fraser is now the highest scoring Cherries player on the game with 170 points across the season, his 13 assists in the Premier League this campaign, top of the charts with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

Wee Man is owned by 22% of Fantasy Premier League players and costs just £6.3 million.
