AFC Bournemouth
Tyrone Mings has moved from AFC Bournemouth to Aston Villa for an undisclosed amount that breaks the club record transfer fee received.
The defender joins the newly-promoted Premier League side having played on loan with Villa in the second half of last season, playing in 18 matches for the side as they reclaimed their spot in the top flight with a win over Derby County in the play-off final.
I close this chapter of my career with a very heavy heart, sometimes things don’t work out how you planned & unfortunately I wasn’t able to achieve the things I wanted to at @afcbournemouth - I will be forever grateful for the opportunity the manager and the club gave me ❤️🖤 pic.twitter.com/xyUKsTisZo

Mings was the Cherries' first Premier League signing when he joined the club from Ipswich Town in June 2015, going on to make a total of 22 appearances during his time on the south coast, 17 of which came in the Premier League.
