AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth welcome Chelsea to Vitality Stadium for our Premier League game on Wednesday evening.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm and all tickets have been issued - supporters are strongly advised to arrive early to avoid any potential queues as all supporters and bags will be searched prior to entering the ground.

The game follows Holocaust Memorial Day (27th January) and has been dedicated to removing antisemitism from football and our community, a cause that our visiting team has also been working to achieve

Here’s a list of what is open when tonight at the stadium ahead of kick-off.

9am TICKET OFFICE OPEN

Supporters can collect their tickets for the Chelsea game from 9am at ticket office counter in the Club Superstore (collection windows next to main reception will be opened after 5pm).

Tickets for our next home game against Wolves are at all available tickets issued but any returns will be made available to supporters with 1+ Home Priority Points from 11am on Friday 22nd February.

On top of that, from 9am, tickets for our home games against Manchester City (14+ Home Priority Points) and Newcastle United (23+ Home Priority Points) are on sale as well as our away match against Arsenal (10+ Away Priority Points).

Tickets for AFC Bournemouth Under 21s against Liverpool will also be on general sale. For additional sales and points information click here.

The ticket office stays open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

9am SUPERSTORE OPEN

Visit the Superstore early to take advantage of the current offer to buy any replica home shirt and receive a £10 Superstore voucher to spend in store.

As well as this, spend £40 on Umbro training wear and you receive a week-long family pass to David Lloyd Sports Centre in Poole.

The Superstore will also remain open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

4.30pm CAR PARK OPEN

The South Stand car park, behind the stadium, costs just £1 to park; it does fill up roughly 75 minutes prior to kick-off, so arrive early and it may take up to 45 minutes to clear after the game.  You can now leave via the south of the car park to exit the park along Gloucester Road and so miss the traffic along Kings Park Drive.

Harewood College is not open on midweek/evening matches.

Alternative parking can be found at Sovereign Shopping Centre for £2 for four hours or £4 for 24 hours. Here is a link from google maps

If you choose to park elsewhere, please respect local residents’ driveways and relevant parking restrictions.  Enforcement officers are active on matchdays.

5pm BOURNEMOUTH FOOD BANK

The Bournemouth Foodbank point will be present at every matchday until the end of the season and is located just outside the Superstore entrance for donations of non-perishable foods and sanitary items.

5pm 1910 BAR OPEN

This is located next to the media entrance in the Vitality Main Stand and is for home supporters only.

This bar is a great place to meet prior to the game but it does get busy, so bear this in mind as there may be a queue.

As well as our bar food range, you can also enjoy our bistro area with table service and a tasty variety of hot dishes, freshly prepared.  There is no need to book in advance, just arrive and wait to be seated.

The 1910 is open after the game for an hour and a half for drinks and to catch up on all of the evening’s scores, while allowing the traffic from the ground to ease.

5pm GREAT ESCAPE BAR OPEN

The Great Escape is a good outdoors alternative and is located outside of the Superstore.  Again, available to home supporters, the bar serves a range hot food and drinks.  Last orders are at 7pm and the bar closes 15 minutes later.  It does not re-open post-match.

5pm NORTH STAND KIOSK

Available prior to turnstiles opening for a wide range of hot food and soft/hot drinks – try our homemade pies – they’re very tasty as are our special recipe burgers.

5pm DC LOUNGE OPEN

This is open to both home and visiting disabled supporters pre-match and is based on the ground floor and first floor of the Vitality East Stand – where supporters can pit their wits in a Cherries quiz prior to kick-off, enjoy a free hot beverage and review the team sheets once available.

JUNIOR FANZONE

Please note our fan zone is not open for evening fixtures.

6.30pm TURNSTILES OPEN

Supporters can take their seats from 6.30pm.  Please bear in mind that for supporters’ own safety, there will be 100% searches of every single supporter as well as bag searching/tagging. Please don’t bring a bag unless you absolutely need to and ensure you arrive at least 45 minutes prior to kick-off to avoid delays.

Get inside the ground early to make the most of the pre-match combo, which is a pie/burger and a pint for £5 (not available in the south stand). You can have a soft drink instead for £4 for the bundle and both are available up to half an hour before kick-off.

The Junior Cherries meal deal is also available throughout - it’s great value at just £2.50 when you present your JC membership card.

As stated earlier, please arrive early for the game to ensure entry before kick-off.

6.45pm PRE-MATCH ENTERTAINMENT

Get into your seat early and be in the running for a signed David Brooks shirt, all you have to do is enter the ground 45 minutes prior to kick-off and you’re automatically entered into the prize draw.

Tonight’s themed match focuses around awareness of antisemitism and Holocaust Memorial Day. The club has been taking part in various pre-match activities around this subject, which have included the academy partaking in a minute’s silence before their game on Sunday as well as being involved in a workshop around the Holocaust and antisemitism in 2019.

In addition, Henry Schachter, a Holocaust survivor living in our community has visited Vitality Stadium to speak to our under-18s about his experience and the effects of racism if left unopposed.

We also welcome members of the Bournemouth Hebrew Congregation to enjoy the match against the blues this evening.

The nominated Fans’ Champion will deliver the match ball to the Premier League plinth just before kick-off so be sure to give them a big round of applause.

7.45pm KICK-OFF

We get underway at 7.45pm against Chelsea, so let’s get right behind the team and cheer them on.
