Matchday schedule: Brighton (FA Cup)

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth’s second home game of 2019 sees the Cherries begin their Emirates FA Cup campaign against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Kick-off is 12.30pm and temperatures on Saturday will be approximately eight degrees but still wrap up warm in the stadium!

As ever, please plan to enter the ground at least an hour before kick-off, as there will be 100% searches of all supporters and don’t bring a bag unless absolutely necessary,

9am TICKET OFFICE OPEN

Supporters can collect their tickets for the Brighton game from 9am at one of the collection windows.

Tickets are also on sale for Everton away, Chelsea at home and Cardiff City away.

The ticket office stays open 20 minutes after the final whistle, more information is here on ticketing.

9am SUPERSTORE OPEN

There’s plenty of post-Christmas bargains to be had in the club Superstore!

The 2018/19 annual is just £2, with the 2018/19 calendar now £3. The 2017/18 season review Blu Ray and DVD is also just £4 in store and online.

The Superstore is open from 9am and is also open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

9am CAR PARK OPEN

The South car park, behind the stadium, costs just £1 to park; it does fill up roughly 75 minutes to kick-off, so arrive early and be aware it may take up to 45 minutes to clear. Exit is also available after the game to the south of the car park which will take you out onto Gloucester Road and so avoid the Kings Park Drive queue.

For free parking just a 10-minute walk from the ground, Harewood College is open from 12.30pm - here’s a link on google maps.

Alternative parking can be found at Sovereign Shopping Centre for £2 for four hours or £4 for 24 hours – here is a link on google maps.

If you choose to park elsewhere, please respect local residents and relevant parking restrictions.

10am 1910 BAR OPEN

This is located next to the media entrance in the Vitality Main Stand and is for home supporters only.

This bar is a great place to meet prior to the game but it does get busy, so bear this in mind before arriving.

Hot food and drinks are available.

10am GREAT ESCAPE BAR OPEN

The Great Escape is a good alternative outdoors and is located close to the Superstore.

Hot food and drinks are also available and just present your match ticket to get entry.

10am NORTH STAND KIOSK

Available prior to turnstiles opening for a wide range of hot food and soft/hot drinks – try our home made pies – they’re very tasty.

10am JUNIOR FANZONE OPEN

The club’s Junior Fanzone, open to all fans under the age of 16 and located in the main stand, will be open for this fixture.

From Xbox Ones, to table tennis and to the new strikezone wall, the Fanzone is open from so stop by and say hello between 10am-11.30am.

10.30am DC LOUNGE OPEN

This is open to both home and visiting disabled supporters pre-match and is based on the ground floor and first floor of the Vitality East Stand – where supporters can pit their wits in a Cherries quiz prior to kick-off.

11am TURNSTILES OPEN

Supporters can take their seats from 11am and please bear in mind that for supporters’ own safety, there will be 100% searches of every single supporter as well as bag searching/tagging.

Please don’t bring a bag unless you absolutely need to and ensure you arrive at least one hour prior to kick-off.

Get inside the ground early to make the most of the pre-match combo, which is a pie/burger and a pint for £5 (note no alcohol in South Stand). You can have a soft drink instead around the ground for £4 for the bundle, both available up to half an hour before kick-off.

The Junior Cherries meal deal is also available throughout - it’s great value at just £2.50 when you present your JC membership card.

11.30am PRE MATCH ENTERTAINMENT

If you are inside the ground 45 minutes prior to kick-off you will be automatically entered into a draw to win a signed shirt from Nathan Ake!

12.30pm KICK OFF

The FA Cup campaign begins at 12.30pm!
