MATCHDAY NAMED BEST PREMIER LEAGUE PROGRAMME

Over Christmas Programme Monthly announced their award winners for the 2018/19 season – with AFC Bournemouth’s being crowned as the best programme in the Premier League.

Joint winners with Brighton & Hove Albion’s fine programme, MATCHDAY was praised for its strong features, in-depth history section, comprehensive away guide and this year's inclusion of Cherries stickers.

MATCHDAY editor Iain Pearce spoke about the award: “It’s great to be recognised by such a well-respected organisation and it's an award we really appreciate receiving.

"We aim to provide the best programme we can for Cherries fans, filling supporters in on all the different areas around the football club in an interactive, innovative and informative way.

"There is a committed team that put the programme together and this accolade is testament to the hard work that everyone puts in."

For Wednesday evening's match with Watford there is an exclusive sit-down interview with Eddie Howe, as our manager marks ten years since he took the top job at the club.

There is also a 2018 review with matchday commentator Kris Temple, while former players Jason Pearce, Mark Molesley and Alan Connell discuss Howe's opening days as manager in 2008/09, with the club at the time looking destined for relegation from the Football League.

As well as a pull-out poster of the manager there are quizzes, facts and fun in our Extra Time section, not to mention your next batch of stickers for our 2018/19 official sticker collection.

All that is available for £3.50 outside the stadium ahead of kick-off.

And if you live in Boscombe or Bangkok you can still make the most of each edition of MATCHDAY, as they can all be bought digitally by clicking here for iOS or here for Android.
