Loan watch: Surridge features against United

AFC Bournemouth had nine players in loan action this weekend, after FA Cup and league fixtures were both played out.

Sam Surridge was handed the opportunity to turn out against Manchester United at Huish Park, whilst Joe Quigley was on target for Boreham Wood.

Sam Surridge

It was a big weekend for Surridge, who had forged a place into Darren Way’s starting XI as Manchester United visited Yeovil in the Fa Cup. Despite a 4-0 scoreline to Jose Mourinho’s side, the striker played all 90 minutes.

Baily Cargill

Cargill made his second appearance in a Partick Thistle shirt after signing last week, with the SPL outfit winning 3-1 at St. Johnstone.

Joe Quigley

Quigley got his name on the Boreham Wood scoresheet once again, helping the National League outfit to a 3-0 win at Ebbsfleet.

Ben Whitfield

Whitfield came on after 64 minutes, as his Port Vale side scored a last minute equaliser against Colchester United.

Aaron Ramsdale

Young shot-stopper Ramsdale played all 90 minutes of Chesterfield’s 1-0 loss to Stevenage.

Sam Matthews

Cherries midfielder Matthews got another 90 minutes under his belt, playing his part in Eastleigh’s thrilling 4-3 win over Hartlepool.

Will Dennis

Dennis was also on hand for Weymouth, keeping a clean sheet in their 6-0 win over Farnborough.

Callum Stanton

Stanton played 90 minutes between the sticks for Guernsey, who drew 1-1 with Ashford United.

Patrick O’Flaherty

Fellow Cherries ‘keeper O’Flaherty, played his first 90 minutes for new club Gosport Borough, who drew 3-3 with Dorchester.
